Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

King Life Insurance is an independent insurance agency operated by Matthew King. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through kinglifeinsurance.com. Other websites or services linked from this site may have their own privacy policies.

Information you choose to provide

When you request a consultation, complete an employer-benefits check, ask for insurance information, or otherwise contact King Life, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, employee-count range, role, insurance or benefits interests, and a message about what you would like to discuss.

Some insurance quoting or application processes may require additional information such as age or date of birth, state, health or underwriting information, beneficiary information, or payment information. Sensitive information should be collected only through systems intended for that purpose.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site may collect technical and attribution information such as browser type, device type, IP address, pages viewed, referring page, first landing page, and campaign parameters such as UTM values or advertising click identifiers. Cookies and similar technologies may also be used for site functionality, consent preferences, analytics, security, attribution, and marketing measurement.

Analytics, advertising, and consent controls

King Life may use analytics, tag-management, consent-management, and advertising-measurement services to understand website use and measure marketing performance. Where consent controls are presented, those controls may limit analytics or advertising storage until the visitor makes a choice.

Our policy is not to intentionally place health information, underwriting answers, Social Security numbers, payment-card information, or similar sensitive insurance intake data in advertising URLs, ordinary analytics event labels, or advertising-platform events.

Direct-mail attribution and campaign measurement

Some King Life campaigns may use personalized URLs, QR codes, cookies, or similar attribution tools to measure responses to direct-mail or other marketing campaigns. These tools may process campaign identifiers, referral information, device or browser information, and website activity. Sensitive insurance or underwriting information should not be placed in campaign URLs or ordinary marketing-attribution fields.

How information may be used

King Life may use information to respond to an inquiry; provide insurance, retirement, Medicare, health, life, or employer-benefit information; schedule or conduct a requested consultation; maintain prospect and customer records; support policy or plan service; route inquiries to the appropriate workflow; prevent fraud or misuse; operate and secure the website; measure marketing performance; and satisfy legal, regulatory, carrier, contractual, or recordkeeping obligations.

Communications

If you submit a form or otherwise request information, King Life may use the contact information you provide to respond to that inquiry and provide related service communications. Submission of a general website form does not by itself create insurance coverage.

Where text-message or other marketing consent is required by law or by the communication channel being used, the applicable consent language and opt-out instructions should be provided at the point of collection or in the message itself. Consent to marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing insurance unless specifically permitted by applicable law. You may ask us to stop non-required marketing communications at any time; service or transaction-related communications may still be necessary.

Service providers and insurance carriers

King Life may use service providers that support website hosting, forms, customer relationship management, communications, analytics, consent management, direct-mail attribution, scheduling, quoting, applications, security, and other business operations. These providers may process information on our behalf according to their role and applicable agreements.

When you request a quote, apply for coverage, or ask us to help service an insurance matter, relevant information may also be shared with insurance carriers, enrollment or quoting platforms, third-party administrators, or other parties involved in evaluating, issuing, enrolling, administering, or servicing the requested product or benefit.

Sensitive information

Do not send Social Security numbers, medical records, payment-card details, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email or a general website message field. If sensitive information is needed for an insurance application or service request, use the carrier, enrollment, application, or other secure process provided for that purpose.

Cookies and your choices

You may be able to control certain cookies or tracking through the consent controls presented on the site and through your browser settings. Disabling some technologies may affect website functionality or measurement. You may also use available platform or browser controls to limit certain forms of advertising tracking.

Data retention and security

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to support an insurance transaction or customer relationship, and to satisfy legal, regulatory, carrier, contractual, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping requirements. King Life uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy choices and state rights

You may contact King Life to ask about information you previously submitted, request a correction where appropriate, or ask to stop non-required marketing communications. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on your state of residence and the type of information involved. Some records may need to be retained to comply with insurance, legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.

King Life does not sell personal information for money. Certain analytics or advertising technologies may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising activity under some state privacy laws; where applicable, available consent or opt-out controls should be honored.

Third-party websites and embedded services

This site may link to or embed services operated by insurance carriers, Medicare enrollment platforms, quoting providers, scheduling tools, Immediate Burial Insurance, or other third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. A link or embedded service does not make King Life responsible for an unaffiliated provider’s privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, vendors, services, marketing systems, or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
